"description": "<div><p>A magus is a martial warrior who infuses their weapons with spells. They value skill with weapons, primarily, but have learned to infuse their weapons with magic enhancements.</p></div><div><ul><li><p><strong>Armor Interference (Light)</strong>: A magus must move in precise patterns to use their magic. She cannot use any abilities granted by this Edge or any Edge that has this Edge as a requirement when wearing medium or heavy armor or using a medium or heavy shield.</p></li><li><p><strong>Magus' Weapon</strong>: The Magus may hold a melee weapon while using their Spell Strike. A weapon's Reach increases the range of a Magus's Touch-limited powers.</p></li><li><p><strong>Mystic Powers (Magus)</strong>: As a limited free action, the magus can invoke any one of the following powers. @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.hBfpNdcd1WBsszu3]{Boost Trait} (Agility or Fighting only), @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.p0sK0KYfyvGFNLNt]{Deflection}, or @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.LiY5yCQkOOKz9T2L]{Smite}. All are self only but the magus gains no benefit from the limitation. The magus has a dedicated pool of 10 power points that recharges normally, and may activate the power at the normal cost, or with a raise for +2pp. She may use any power modifiers that are compatible with the self limitation.</p></li><li><p><strong>Martial Cantrip</strong>: The magus has studied enough magic to be able to use cantrip effects from any of the powers available to her Mystic Powers or Spell Strike. In addition, she gets access to the @UUID[Compendium.swpf-apg.swpf-apg-powers.ZZuTG3eeg2jCTNcH]{Minor Bolt} complex cantrip. She uses the better of her Common Knowledge or Academics when a roll is required for these effects, and may suffer backlash (and fatigue if out of power points) on a critical failure.</p></li><li><p><strong>Spell Strike</strong>: As a limited action the magus may infuse her touch attack (with a weapon) with the effects of one of the following powers (Range touch, but gaining no cost reduction from the limitation): @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.9Tvla4tbJvLwlUQN]{Bolt}, @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.IdCcc8NcVsxmNAYw]{Drain Power Points}, @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.7n5Iu772YhO19ln5]{Fear}, @UUID[Compendium.swpf-core-rules.swpf-powers.uu29DfNqynLCMkRF]{Slumber}. The Fighting roll is used as the arcane skill roll for purposes of determining raise effects. The cost for these powers comes out of the magus' Mystic Powers pool. If the Fighting roll is greater than 4 the power points are spent as if the spell went off, even if the attack doesn't make it through the opponent's Parry. Otherwise a point is spent. In the case of a critical failure, the Magus suffers a level of Fatigue. The Touch attack has no damage effect other than any imparted by the spell.</p></li></ul></div>",
